 DIY necklace/bracelet is inexpensive.  I actually made this wooden bead jewlery set a long time ago. Since I'm moving to new flat I've found it again.  It's a cute idea to jazz up an otherwise dull outfit.  Plus it's super simple to do. Even a young child can give this ago. As you can see in the photo, I went for a rainbow look. You can any combo you wish. One colour, two or different shades for ombre effects.  How to make/what you need: Elastic thread  (long enough to go round neck plus a few cm's for tying.) Scissors  (For cutting elastic)  Beads  (any size and colour you wish) Me wearing necklace.    To make it: 1- Arrange beads how you would like them to look on necklace/bracelet. 2- Measure round neck or wrist how long you'll need elastic.  Sometimes it pays to know more people to get clothes. Instead of always going to thrift shops or looking at sales you can get free clothes. Here's how I got free red crop trousers: My mum's boss brought some old clothes to work for people to take for free. These were his wife's. This lady has a clear out as she's a shopaholic.   So, my mum rummaged through them. She realized they were a majority of small sizes. I'm lucky enough to be that small. Childlike me hehe.  What my mum picked out for me was a 3 items. A lace pink jacket, some straight cut jeans and the red trousers I'm wearing in the photo.  (I'll talk about the other items in future posts so, stay tuned).  Here is a photo of the trousers I paid zero for. How I paid nothing and walked away with additions to my wardrobe: (not stealing) This was several years ago now. Yet I still remember it. Back when I was doing a carboot sale to raise money for a summer holiday. I was down sizing the huge family house to move into a seaside flat. That's where I found items to sell. I wish I had photos of the event. However, picture this. A large empty field with cars in rows. They have boots/trunk open with tables of stalls in front of each car. These stalls selling everything from clothes, kids toys to antiques. Near the end of the day around packing up time, this girl was going round trying to get rid of these bags. Sweet little envelope style bags of many colours. Simply going round trying to off load them. When she approached my stall, I half expected they were going to be tatty. I got this coat for only £3. Yeah I know it's a bargain. One I couldn't believe the price tag. It was once from Topshop. A brand I know well and is a great high street shop. Seeing this coat a uk size 6 that's rare to find, I snapped it up. (US size 2, yeah I'm tiny) Now you're wondering where I found such a bargain. At a car boot sale. It seems to be super smart and cozy. I decided to wear it one Christmas period outing to London. The fact it's black adds to the smartness but the front buttons equally appear chic too. The fact it came from a car boot sale doesn't put me off at all. It's second hand but, you can tell the quality is great. Knowing the shop it came from helps guarantee you have a good purchase. This trend of short dungarees is an 80's comeback. You couldn't watch tv back then without seeing people wearing this hardwearing clothing piece.  The short dungarees are great spring/summer clothing.  The super casual trend can be worked layered up with ease. Whatever your style is, be it vintage, sporty or grunge, you're bound to be able to add dungarees in your wardrobe. In the 80's there was the long dungarees shortly followed by the more popular today 90's short dungarees.
